Entries are open for The MoonWalk London 2027, an overnight charity walk on Saturday 15 May 2027 that starts and finishes on Clapham Common.
The walk is organised by Walk the Walk, a charity that raises money to help beat cancer and to support people affected by the disease. It has raised more than £148 million since 1996 and is celebrating three decades of getting people walking.
There will be four distances to choose from next year. A 10-mile challenge is new for 2027. It is aimed at people who want to go further than 10K without the training a half marathon or marathon needs.
The New Moon 10K, which launched last year, will run again. The Half Moon is 15.1 miles and the Full Moon is 26.2 miles. These are the charity’s longest-standing and hardest challenges.
Entries are taken through the Walk the Walk website at walkthewalk.org. Thousands of walkers are expected to take part on the night.
