Pearl Mackie takes the lead role in Baby, the latest work from writer Gurpreet Kaur Bhatti, which has its world premiere at Brixton House on Coldharbour Lane next month. The run lasts from 8 to 31 October 2026.
Clean Break and Brixton House are presenting the production together, with Milli Bhatia directing. The organisers call it a provocative new play about one woman’s will to survive, “even though she hasn’t got a hope in hell.”
Mackie is the only cast member named in the production details released by the organisers. Brixton House is both co-presenter and venue for the run.
The first performance is on 8 October 2026 and the last on 31 October. Press night falls on 14 October 2026, about a week into the run.
Tickets are priced from £15.40 to £23.40. They are sold through the Brixton House box office, which is online at brixtonhouse.co.uk/shows/baby/ and is the only ticket outlet the organisers list for the production.
The theatre is at 385 Coldharbour Lane in Brixton, in the borough of Lambeth.
