Alice Immersive Wonderland has its world premiere in a Canada Water warehouse, with 10 chapters and a 20-minute projection room.
An immersive experience based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland opens at Dock X in Canada Water on 13 November. Called Alice Immersive Wonderland, it is having its world premiere in London.
The show is split into 10 chapters, each taking visitors further into the world of the 1865 novel. Large dreamlike sets and 360-degree projections sit alongside live performers who act out key moments from the story. A narrator with a voice that recalls Carroll guides people from room to room.
Visitors chase the white rabbit through a tunnel of piled-up cushions, stand under giant mushrooms and end up at the chaotic tea party. The Cheshire Cat has a forest washed in purple, and the Queen of Hearts area has a game of flamingolf, played without real birds.
One room, the Hall of Dreams, surrounds visitors with moving images for 20 minutes as it looks back over Alice’s adventures. Another is laid out like an exhibition about Carroll’s life and the legacy of his writing.
The experience comes from Cités Immersives, which has already staged shows in France about the Vikings and the fables of La Fontaine. For London the company is taking over the 26,000 square feet of the Dock X warehouse, and the show is designed for all ages.
More information is on the Alice Immersive Wonderland website.
It opens on 13 November 2026.
