Overnight engineering work means rail replacement buses towards Oxted and East Grinstead and a diverted 11.15pm from Dorking.
Southern is running buses in place of some late trains from East Croydon and around Sutton this week while engineers work overnight. People travelling late from Croydon and Sutton and the areas nearby are the most affected, on journeys from Tuesday 22 September to the early hours of Friday 25 September.
The buses towards Oxted and East Grinstead start on Monday evening, while the Sutton diversion runs from Tuesday to Thursday. Both sets of changes are over by Friday morning.
The work closes some lines on the routes south from East Croydon to Oxted and East Grinstead. From Monday to Thursday, buses take over from about 11.30pm each evening and keep running until the last services of the night have gone.
A further bus runs between Crowborough and Uckfield.
Overnight work in the Sutton area also changes the route of one late train from Tuesday to Thursday. The 11.15pm from Dorking to London Victoria is diverted between Sutton and Balham and goes non-stop via Selhurst, so it skips the stations it would normally serve on that stretch.
Passengers for those stations can use a replacement bus between Sutton and Balham instead. It serves Mitcham Eastfields and Mitcham Junction, as well as Hackbridge and Carshalton.
Journeys by bus take longer than by train, so passengers are told to leave extra time. Checking a journey before setting out is recommended, above all for anyone travelling late at night.
